I’m looking for a bank Personal Assistant(s) to provide cover on an ad-hoc basis as and when needed. Someone who can support me with household duties, access to the community and support with daily tasks for my children. Applicant must have a driving licence. Please note I have one friendly Chihuahua. I’m looking for applicants whose qualities include being organised, have empathy, motivated, trustworthy, patient and willing to learn more about my medical condition. I would like to hire someone who can help support me in improving management of the condition. Depending on distance I use various mobility equipment including manual & electric wheelchair Hours: Ad-hoc as and when needed. Duties and Responsibilities:● Light cooking and cleaning duties● Personal care, at present minor assistance needed such as support with washing hair ● Support out in the community, also including supporting with activities with my children.● Must be able to cook and prepare meals for children● Prompting Medication● Assisting with physio● Typing skills, keeping up with emails and booking appointments● Computer Literate, ideally good knowledge of office software in Chrome or Microsoft● Support with online food shop● Occasional shopping● Competent to support making phone calls, organising paperwork, calendar, occasionally attending appointments and meetings.● I’m unable to stand for long as exacerbates symptoms, so outdoors mostly requires a wheelchair. ● Understanding of confidentiality including confidentiality online.● Any other reasonable task to allow the service user to live independently Essential requirements:● Full Clean Driving License ● Enhanced DBS required. Cost met by employer. ● References from previous employers● Excellent English skills (verbal and written) ● Legally entitled to work in the U.K Desirable requirements:● Experience in health & social care, NVQ 2 or above in Health and Social Care.
