Jobs Work as an independent carer (PA) Female Personal Assistant Job Ref: AN/LP | Permanent | Plymouth PL5 | Hourly Rate £8.21 | 31st May 2019 Job overview: We are recruiting for a female Personal Assistant to join a small team of carers to support a lady with multiple health conditions in the Manadon area of Plymouth. You will be employed directly by the client and working in the employers home and the community. The shifts will vary but you will be required to work weekdays and weekends between 8am and 11pm. Flexibility is essential, however the employer is happy to consider applicants other commitments. The employer is a lady in her 50’s who is young at heart and has a good sense of humour. She enjoys the theatre and cinema, board games and used to enjoy playing boules. She would like to employ staff to be able to remain independent in her own home. Main duties:Provide personal care assistance to the employerAble to assist with housekeeping and domestic tasks such as cooking and laundry.Support to attend appointments and access the communitySupport with communication and organising appointmentsSupport with administering medicationThe employer has a small dog (Shih Tzu). You must be comfortable tending to the dogs needs and supporting the employer by taking the dog for walks.
