Job Overview:

Female Personal Care Assistant with periodic Personal Care.
The employer is looking for a personal assistant to support within their home and out in the community as is hoping to be able to start getting back into the community next month for activities including cinema, coffee etc. Female service user in PL4 area who uses a wheelchair user but is able to self transfer so no hoists etc. It is vital that the applicant has a driving license and own vehicle with business insurance to support with appointments and activities.
Employer is looking for someone who is reliable and has a good understanding of confidentiality in the workplace.
Please note employer has 2 cats.

Hours: 2 hours minimum of 3 evenings a week up to 7 evenings a week.
There will be holiday and sickness cover available.
Variable hours to cover shifts including occasional evenings and weekends (holiday/sickness)

Hourly Rate: £8.72 per hour.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• To have appropriate literacy skills to perform admin duties and make detailed notes at appointments.
• Driving employer to appointments
• Support to attend activities
• Any other reasonable task to allow the service user to live independently

Essential requirements:
• Full driving licence and own car.
• Enhanced DBS required. Cost met by employer
• Legally entitled to work in the U.K

Desirable requirements:
• Non-Smoker
