DS/BC | Permanent | Swindon SN2 | £12.50 per hour | Closes: 18th Sept Introduction I am a friendly 51 year old lady with Cerebral Palsy that mainly affects my lower limbs but also my balance. Which means I am prone to falls. I use a range of mobility aids both indoors and outdoors. You will be helping me be safe and active as is possible in my own home and my local community doing tasks that I need assistance with. Duties Some personal care, Domestic and household duties Support attending activities and appointments and sometimes driving me to these Assistance with managing mobility, transfers and daily living tasks thus ensuring safety Support with physiotherapy exercises and stretches (Training will be given) Support if needed with pets (cats) Support with shopping These duties may vary day to day Hours 9 hours per week each PA Post 1: 3. hours Monday, Tuesday and Friday 9.30am to 12.30pm Post 2: 4.5 hours Wednesday and Thursday 9.30am to 2pm Rate £12.50 per hour Essential Requirements Clean driving licence Happy to be in a home with two cats Non smoker preferred. No smoking or vaping will be allowed on the premises Flexibility to amend hours if required and be able to support when hospital or medical appointments when fall outside of regular hours Covering other Personal Assistants holidays and sickness absence. Desired Experience Someone who has been in a previous role where caring, kindness, understanding and flexibility are key attributes References will be required and permanent employment will be subject to a trial/probation period. DBS check will also be required.
