Support us Events Enham Scarecrow Competition Display your scarecrow creation for all to see and admire at this year's Enham Summer Fete and be in with a chance of winning Best Scarecrow on the day! There will be the opportunity for people to vote for your scarecrow at our fete with the winner and runners up to be announced later that day. Check out our FAQs below for more information... FAQs How do I register? Bring your scarecrow down on the day and head to the Scarecrow Registration point. This will be located near the entrance to the Village Green and clearly signposted. It's FREE to enter and you can enter as many scarecrows on the day as you like! Where can I source materials to build my scarecrow? Straw, items of clothing and other useful materials will be available for collection from Enham Trust. Contact our Scarecrow Committee to arrange collection on 01264 345 800 or by emailing [email protected]. Alternatively, you're welcome to source your own materials should you have something special or bespoke in mind... Don't miss out! Items will be provided to competitors on a first come, first serve basis in the lead up to the big day. Where will my scarecrow be displayed? Scarecrows will be dotted about the fete site in one of our 'scarecrow hot spots' for fete goers to admire. Fancy showing off your creation elsewhere? Why not put your scarecrow outside your home in the lead up to the day!? How do I vote for my favourite Scarecrows? Our villagers are a competitive bunch and are relying on you to vote for your favourite Scarecrow creations! It's easy - a site map featuring the various 'scarecrow hot spot' locations will be included on handouts. Walk about the site and check out the competition. Once you've located your favourite scarecrow(s) of the day, take a mental note of the number associated with your chosen winner and head back to the voting station near the entrance to the village green.
