Enham Trust is a leading disability charity situated in the rural village of Enham Alamein, providing both residential and domiciliary care, accessible housing and supported employment both onsite and within the surrounding area. The charity is at the heart of the local community.

The role

As a Driver for Enham Trust, you will be providing an essential transport service for our disabled clients in order for them to access work placements, college, social activities, appointments and more.

You will ensure that our clients reach their destination on time whilst ensuring passenger safety and following the Highway Code at all times.

You will maintain & clean vehicles and also report any faults to the Transport Coordinator.

You

You will;

  • Hold a full clean driving licence with category D1
  • Be physically able to push wheelchairs and secure wheelchairs to vehicle floor
  • Be patient and understanding of disability issues such as physical access
  • Be flexible within the working pattern for cover purposes as required
