Introduction

I am a 23 year old man with Downs Syndrome, Autism. I like people, activities and going out. I like to visit Farms, swimming pools, indoor golf/mini golf centres, eating out and most things to do with trains. I like travelling around by bus or car and enjoy listening to music that’s fun and energetic. 
I need help as I’m trying to be independent as I can, whilst living at home with my parents/ sister.
 
Duties
Support client to access the community and access activities of interest in the community. 
Assist to build independent skills. 
Provide basic companionship.

Hours
 2- 4 hours per week, Tuesday or Friday. 
Hours can Tuesday, flexible timings between the hrs of 11am and 5pm. Fridays are a possibility but Tuesday would be preferable. worked flexibly. 

Rate: £14.50 per hour

Essential Requirements: 
Car driver- driving license/access to car
Clear DBS – at request of employer. 
Some experience working with people that have additional needs or that you know well someone with additional needs.

Desired Experience
Encourage and enable client to carry out activities of interest. 
Experience in this kind of role preferred but not essential.
