A young lady is looking of a female support worker to help with social and homebased activities mid-week. An understanding of working with a learning disability would be an advantage but more importantly is a flexible, caring, and supportive approach to care.

Activities include driving to the local Ice rink and supporting ice skating and and travel requirements. Use of own vehicle required. ( Mileage paid: 30p per mile.)
Home support includes meals preparation (times negotiable), help choosing what to cook & encourage healthy eating. Some support with bathing & hair washing, medication reminders & other personal care. Encouragement to generally keep healthy & promote an active life. Applicant needs to be patient, a good listener/communicator, kind, a little flexible, caring, trustworthy & fun-loving with a good sense of humour.

Hours: Up to 11 per week Wednesdays and Thursdays & holiday cover.
Hourly Rate: £8.91
