Job Overview:
Support Worker required for Disabled Young Man with Autism in Swindon

Main Duties:
• Assisting with and encouraging morning routine, i.e. getting up and dressed, showered
• Meal preparation
• Skin care and checks to ensure general health and well-being (training given)

Hours: 8.5hrs per week, some evening and weekend work

Hourly Rate: £10.50 per hour, £11.50 per hour evening and weekend 

Ideal Candidate:
• Must be reliable
• Be experienced or willing to train in the care of clients with autism with challenging behaviour, physical disabilities and mental health.
• Have a clean driving license and be willing to drive clients car to activities
• Enhanced DBS Check
• Legally Able To Work in UK

Essential Criteria:
Type of experience required: Mental Health, physical disability and autism
Length of experience required: 1-3 years
Full Driving Licence: Essential
Use of Own Car: Not essential but will need to be able to drive a mobility car and therefore need a clean license
Gender: Male or female
Language: English to a good ability in both verbal and written communication (due to the needs of the individual)
