The role

Under the support and guidance of our care home management team, you will carry out a wide range of care tasks including, but not exclusive to:

  • Provide a high standard of care overnight, including hygiene, continence, and mobility
  • Carry out regular checks on residents at intervals determined by care plans, diary notes and the management team.
  • Assist residents throughout the night with whatever they need
  • Conform at all times with the night procedure and all other procedures in the home.
  • Maintain accurate notes and records of residents and to hand over information to day staff that is relevant to the on-going care of individual residents.
  • Undertaking regular training to ensure that you are up to date with changes to legislation and you deliver the very best standards of care.


Compassionate by nature, you will possess sound judgement, initiative and problem-solving abilities. Reading, writing and communicating clearly in English is vital,

Experience is not as essential as your genuine desire to develop in a career in care.
