Overview
To assist with a variety of tasks which will enable/assist the employer who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.

Duties
Domestic duties, Support with;
• Preparing meals, including breakfast, lunch and to assist with preparing the
evening meal.
• Cleaning, areas in the home, to include lounge, kitchen, bathroom and
bedroom.
• Changing the bed sheets and completing laundry such as loading the machine
and hanging the washing up.
• Requires help to pick things up or fetch items for her

Personal care, assistance with;
• Showering, to include washing hair/ feet and other areas Helen is not able to
complete herself.
• Drying hair and other areas client is not able to reach.
• Dressing for the day.
• Assistance in the community to use the toileting facilities when required.
• Help to manage medication, remind when needed and collection from the pharmacy.
Remind Employer to wear her falls alarm at each visit

Extra Duties
Social duties. Support Client to:
keep in touch and socialise with family and friends attend medical appointments
enjoy hobbies, such as assisting to attending music lessons, gardening workshops.
help to care for her assistance dog.

Hours: 3 hours per week variable shifts to be discussed

Rate: £10.00

Training: Training can be provided if necessary – knowledge of using mobility aids would be an advantage
