The role

You will be working as part of the Employment Services Team and will be the first point of contact for all enquiries relating to the Supported Employment Programme. Our Supported Employment Programme is based on the ethos that anyone who wants to work can do so with the right coaching/training and co-working with employers. Clients on the programme have long-term health conditions, learning difficulties and/or disabilities which have presented them with barriers to entering the world of work. You’ll be providing a variety of administrative support to the team, including maintaining records required for contract delivery. You’ll also be responsible for carrying out Workplace Health and Safety assessments for client/learner work placements and acting as the liaison for employers who are hosting placements. You'll have the ability to travel to undertake some duties of the post will be necessary and will be undertaking the Level 3 Business Apprenticeship standard as part of this role.


Key Results Areas

  • Maintain accurate and secure recording and information systems within the guidelines as set out by the Enham Trust/DWP in relation to the Transitional Employment Support Grant
  • Timely returns of DWP returns in line with DWP TESG published timeframes
  • Contribution to the achievement of KPIs relating to placement of clients and learners with employers e.g. number of clients into paid employment; numbers of clients into voluntary work; numbers of learners completing placements
  • Achievement of the L3 Business Administration Apprenticeship and all associated targets within the Standard in the planned timeframes



  • It is essential that you are have skills and knowledge in IT and competent inn the use of all Microsoft office programmes and internet.
  • You must have strong organisational skills and ability to work to targets and deadlines.
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and complete delegated tasks with little supervision.
