Leading disability charity Enham Trust has announced the appointment of several new trustees, strengthening its existing board.

Enham Trust, based in Enham Alamein supports thousands of disabled people each year to live a life focussed on their ability, providing housing, care and employment services enabling disabled people to be independent and have choice and control. The trustee appointments have been made based on skills and experience to complement the existing board.

Liz Wallace, chosen for her specialism in talent and leadership development, has a wealth of experience including Director of Talent & Leadership for the BT Group and Head of Talent for Vodafone’s emerging markets where she worked in Africa, Asia and the Middle East to identify and develop the future leaders of the business.

Neil Palmer, who owns a portfolio of local property, is a Director of a residential letting agency based in Hampshire, and recently has set up a micro-brewery in Broughton in the heart of the Test Valley stated:

"Enham Trust is an essential charity for disabled people and the Trust requires support throughout the community. I relish the opportunity to work with this worthwhile organisation.’’

Marianne Black MBE has most recently held the position of Chair of Trustees of the British School in Tokyo, before her relocation back to the UK in 2017. Marianne is a UK and Hong Kong qualified lawyer and started her career at Allen & Overy in London before transferring to their Hong Kong office specialising in corporate insolvency.

Stuart Lindsay – a Chartered Accountant specialising in corporate finance. He has established his own consultancy business and acts as non-executive director or strategic advisor to a number of companies. Stuart is a Trustee of Citizens Advice Winchester District.

Dawn Fowler-Stevens, the latest trustee to join Enham Trust is a member of the Chartered Management Institute, the Institute of Business Administrators and ICSA the governance institute and has also served as a board director of a specialist care provider and has a wealth of knowledge gained in the Housing sector.

Chair of Trustees Khalid Aziz, welcomed the new trustees and commented:

"We are delighted to announce the new appointments which have strengthened our existing board. We were looking for a blend of expertise and knowledge to complement our present trustees and are pleased with the immense value they have already and will bring to support the development of Enham Trust."
