Jeremy has worked as a London-based international corporate lawyer for the last 30 years and is a partner at Allen & Overy LLP. He regularly advises Boards on transactional matters and on their legal and regulatory obligations and has wide experience of advising on corporate governance and risk management issues.   He is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Allen & Overy’s staff pension schemes in the UK and was previously a member of Allen & Overy’s audit committee for 8 years.  

He serves as an independent governor on the Board of London South Bank University and on its Major Projects & Investment Committee. He is also Chair of its Remuneration Committee.  

He serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Theatre Royal Haymarket Masterclass Trust, a charity focussed on helping young people develop their careers in the art and craft of theatre.

Jeremy lives a few miles from Enham Alamein in Chute with his wife Mary-Vere, who is an arable farmer, and their two children.
