Introduction:
2 Personal Care Assistants Required. Providing community access aka transportation, and personal support. Part time hours. We are keen to fill the position with the right candidates for client in Meare. There may be other clients requiring drivers for transportation.

Hours:
2.5 Hours up to 4 hours per average day, current days Tuesday, Wednesdays, Thursdays, a Saturday or Sunday alternate weeks: Generally 11.15am start. This could change. some flexibility required. May suit someone semi retired, or those looking for long term regular steady income whilst pursuing other ventures. These roles are important they are supporting and improving someone’s quality of life. That’s Invaluable.

More hours are available for the right person consisting mainly of community access aka providing transportation, when our client wants to attend appointments, social evenings. Pick up and drop off. Locally, or further afield Frome, Bath, Bristol. Dates planned in advance. Cornwall, Devon, other areas for longer breaks or visiting friends.

Rate: £15 per hour plus mileage

Duties:
Domestic support - cleaning, house keeping.
PC duties, hair care etc. Advocacy support- admin, arranging appointments
Attendance to appointments and social events.
Shopping. Receiving food orders. Domestic support, laundry, cleaning
Interest in alternative/holistic medicine/lifestyle
Food prep & cooking for Paleo/Keto diet.

Required
Male and Female applicants welcome. Self employed with UTR/NI number
Provide Reliable clean car, for journeys beyond local area.
Experience in providing personal care assistance.
Current references required
Grounded, calm, practical, good listening skills, use initiative

Basic car maintenance - oil, filling up, checking tyres, cleaning.
Good organisational skills, tidying, structure.
Website / digital art skills a plus!
